PROOF OF VACCINATION, LRGC

Proof of Vaccination, LRGC
Members,
As many of you know, the Province of Nova Scotia recently rolled out their Protocol for Proof of Full Vaccination for Events and Activities. I have included links below for those interested in learning about the details. This subject was discussed during our General Meeting on 21st September and again at a special Executive Meeting on 12th October.
Although many on the Executive had significant and fundamental issues with the protocol, we all agreed that we have a responsibility to our members and our club to avoid punitive measures being imposed on us.
Therefore, effective immediately, proof of vaccination (as detailed in the provincial protocol) will be required for all scheduled and unscheduled use of our ranges. Range officers, and/or volunteers who organize activities, will be required to check proof of vaccination documents for anyone using our facilities. As a club, we also agreed that we will not be storing any proof of vaccination records.
If you have any questions or comments on this, please direct them to lrgc54@gmail.com
Thanks for your understanding,
On behalf of the LRGC Executive
