The Lunenburg Rod & Gun Club is situated on Fish Peddlers Road at Indian Path on 50 acres of land comprised of timber, cut overs, orchards and farm lands. The site is located about 10 minutes from Lunenburg and about 60 minutes from Halifax. This link opens a Google Map page where visitors can get specific directions to the clubhouse.

We currently have a membership base of over 300 members and are continually expanding. The Club was established in 1954 and was located on Kings Hill in Lunenburg for 35 years. Due to incoming industry to the town of Lunenburg, the Club relocated in 1990 to its present site with a modern new facility, including a 30′ by 90′ clubhouse with full meeting capabilities – a main meeting room, a full kitchen, canteen, and washrooms on the main floor.

We house a 20-yard Indoor range with 6 shooting lanes in the basement for small calibre rifle and handgun shooting.

We also have a 100-yard outdoor baffled range for rifle and handgun shooting, fully automated skeet and trap fields, and a sporting clay field set-up which consists of several stations that meander throughout the property offering a wide variety of presentations to challenge your shooting abilities.

Our primary objective is to provide a self-sustaining and fun Club environment, with activities centered on various shooting disciplines, stressing safety and proper firearm handling at all times for all shooters from the beginners to the seasoned veteran.
